As I write this the boat is heading back to Juneau with our northern inshore sites still unsampled. Because of the government shutdown, we are having to stop all activities and return home. I haven't heard yet what the impact is to our offshore surveys, but I am guessing it is the same for them. Hard to say yet how this will impact the GOAIERP; but it ain't good, that's for sure. More to come when we are allowed back to work.
